I walked through Stratford Mall today and saw Bilis Manger from Torchwood!


And yes, this is the most exciting thing to happen to me for quite a while, hence the lack of updates. I should remedy that soon as today I took my last written exam EVER! Unless I get a job which requires me to sit exams, but I'm trying not to think about that.

Now I am going to order Indian food and drink wine.

Inevitably, when I have something I really should be doing (revision again) I start messing around on the internet.

Just discovered that ( very minor casting spoilers for DW Series 4 and Torchwood Series 2 )

You know when you sign up to stuff online, a lot of places ask you to fill in a field with numbers and letters from a picture box to prove you're not a robot?

These guys have gone one better.

An email my Mum had the other day. Had to share.

A list of new words made by taking a word from the dictionary and adding, subtracting or altering one letter, complete with new definition.

1. Intaxication: Euphoria at getting a tax refund, which lasts until you realise it was your money to start with.

2. Reintarnation: Coming back to life as a hillbilly.

3. Bozone (n.): The substance surrounding stupid people, that stops bright ideas from penetrating. The Bozone layer, unfortunately, shows little sign of breaking down in the near future.

4. Cashtration (n.): The act of buying a house, which renders the subject financially impotent for an indefinate period of time.

5. Giraffiti: Vandalism spray-painted very, very high.

6. Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person who doesn't get it.

7. Inoculatte: To take coffee intravenously when you are running late.

8. Hipatitis: Terminal coolness.

9. Osteopornosis: A degenerate disease.

10. Karmageddon: It's like, when everybody is sending off all these really bad vibes, right? And then, like, the Earth explodes and it's like, a serious bummer.

11. Decafalon (n.) The grueling event of getting through the day consuming only things that are good for you.

12. Glibido: All talk and no action.

13.Dopeler Effect: The tendancy of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.

14. Arachnoleptic Fit (n.): The frantic dance performed just after you've accidentally walked through a spider web.

15. Beelzebug (n.): Satan in the form of a mosquito, which gets into your bedroom at three in the morning and cannot be cast out.

16. Caterpallor (n.): The colour you turn after finding half a worm in the fruit you're eating.

17. Ignoranus: A person who's both stupid and an arsehole.

Awesome, I've just been sent a reminder for when my NPA resit is before I've even been given my results!

Next weekend (7th & 8th July) is Ludicrus. Finally East Anglia has got it's own gaming convention organised! Well, I say organised, I really mean thrown together ;)

I'll be there the whole weekend, although I'm not quite sure what I'll be doing the whole time. If I can get hold of and paint enough models, I'll be in the Warmachine league on Saturday. And again, subject to getting something painted, I'll be entering something in the painting competition on Sunday.

Dear Internet,

Sorry I have been neglecting you of late, but I have been distracted.

My man-related dry spell has come to an end and I am enjoying this turn of events.

I may be distracted for some time to come.

It would seem Rosie missed most of the zombie invasion. She is quite glad about this.

I was going to do this much earlier today, but many family-based distractions found me first.

Whilst digging through the boxes I have still not fully unpacked, I found a copy of By The Way by the Chilli Peppers, not in it's original box and I'm pretty sure it's not mine.

Does anyone remember lending it to me?

If you do, I'll give it back. If not, I'm quite happy to keep it :)
